Our approach
Children, young people and their families thrive best when they are part of a strong community. Our programmes are almost exclusively led by local community members, and whenever possible, they are also designed to integrate with and strengthen their surrounding communities.
By caring for children without parental care, protecting children in crises and preventing children from losing parental care in the first place, we help to ensure that children everywhere grow up in a loving environment.
Where we work
We are there for children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it across the globe. Spanning over 130 countries and territories, we are dedicated to supporting children and families in vulnerable situations worldwide.
Our extensive presence and dedicated local staff help us to understand and address the unique challenges each community faces. By collaborating closely with communities, local partners, and governments, we adapt our support to best meet the needs of children who are at risk.
