Empowering Girls and Building Futures: How Lines & Current Supports Youth Employability in The Gambia
Lines & Current, a small family-owned jewellery business, has been empowering young people through education in The Gambia for the last 4 years. By donating 10% of their profits, they have already helped over 400 students graduate from the programme.
They believe in creating change from the inside out and in the power of education to address youth unemployment and promote economic empowerment amongst girls, promoting equality in the community. As the parents of two girls, they are passionate about contributing to creating opportunities for other girls who have not had the same privileges in their lives.
Together, we hope to help the local economy grow by making a difference in the lives of individuals. “Investing in the women and girls in The Gambia is a privilege that not only has an impact today but also for future generations”.
