Abdelhamid is a displaced child in Gaza who joined the learning space one year ago. Since then, he has been part of a supportive and welcoming environment that helps him grow in his learning and social skills. He is thankful to his teachers, who continue to support him and provide him with the extra time he needs.
Educational support and career dreams
In addition to extra time to aid his learning, larger-size printed materials are provided that help him to read more clearly.
These adjustments along with regular check-ins with his family also make sure he gets support from both his teachers and his parents. This joined-up approach has helped build his confidence and made him more motivated to learn to be able to achieve his career hopes.
Abdelhamid dreams of becoming an ophthalmologist so he can help children facing similar eye problems, hoping to make a difference in their lives just as the support he received has improved his own.
