What was your dream job when you were little?

Do you have memories of dressing up in your parents' clothes when you were little, and pretending to do the job they did? Did you ever play teacher, and do the register or set your siblings homework? Or maybe you dreamed that one day you would be an astronaut or fighter pilot or movie star?

Kids love thinking about what they will be when they grow up, so why should the children in SOS's care be any different? Many of them have a very clear idea from a young age of what job they want to do.

Take Aya for example. Growing up in an SOS family hasn't stopped her from dreaming big. Even though most girls in Jordan where she is from don't even have the chance to play football, Aya has gone far beyond that and wants to be a professional footballer when she grows up.

And she's in with a real chance. Already, at the age of just 16, she is on the Jordanian national team - and in 2018 they won the West Asian Cup.

She was delighted when they won, and she knows that every match brings her closer to her dream of becoming a professional footballer. Watch this space!

When the children and young people in our care have a stable home where they feel safe, loved and supported, the sky really is the limit in terms of their future potential.

Find out how you can support children evereywhere to reach their incredible potential.
