Would you want your child to just survive?

Food, water, shelter, emergency care: these are all vital. But they are not enough.

There are millions of children around the world who are scared, alone and feel unloved. They have lost their parents or they just don’t have anyone looking out for them. And now they are facing coronavirus alone, separated from any family and friends they may still have.

Your donation could change a child’s life forever.

We work in 136 countries and territories around the world and have helped to improve more than 13 million lives since our founding in 1949

Your regular gift and long-term support could help families at risk stay together.

Your regular gift could also help children who have no-one by providing family-like care. Our SOS Parents are from the local community and raise children as their own. They make sure their children grow up feeling safe, loved and supported.

A life transformed

As a newborn, David was found abandoned in a public toilet in Côte d'Ivoire with multiple infections, and even ulcers in his eyes. He was taken to hospital for emergency treatment, where the doctor contacted SOS Children’s Villages.

‘I had no idea what he’d been through’, SOS Mother Germain said. ‘He kept his eyes closed all the time and never complained of anything except for when he was hungry’.

Thanks to the support of people like you, and the love and care of his SOS Mother, Germain, he’s now a happy and curious toddler. He loves playing with his SOS siblings and always tries to distract them when they do their homework with his irresistable cheeky smile.

With your support we can help more children get a second chance at life. Donate now and we'll send you regular stories helping you get closer to the lives you’re changing.
