How we help

At SOS Children’s Villages, we support children, young people, and their families throughout their educational journey. We focus on each child’s unique strengths and work closely with communities to create nurseries, schools, and social centres in areas where access to these is limited.

We promote inclusive and safe learning environments that respect cultural and gender differences. We also offer after-school tutoring, speech therapy, and extra support to help children succeed.

For those affected by trauma, we provide specialised education and activities to help them heal and catch up on their learning, and ensure that those living through emergencies can access education again.

We partner with governments and local organisations to strengthen education programmes and empower communities. For young people, we offer mentoring, coaching, and skills training to help them become independent and successful in life.
