We’re part of Chipata
Be part of a global movement that is changing children’s lives
All over the world people are sponsoring SOS Children’s Villages and the children who live in them. Together, thousands of supporters make a huge difference to the lives of millions of people helped by the charity.
Robin van Persie, Thomas Vermaelen and Cesc Fabregas; the Aldbury Junior Church; Pinsent Masons; Smiffy’s; SThree; St Bede's School, Surrey; and White House Arts, Cambridge Supporters’ Group, have all given to our work in Chipata.

- Village sponsorship means making a donation of £20 a month. We will keep in touch as the children start to arrive in their new homes, as the Family Strengthening Programme makes significant improvements to families lives and the medical centre and mobile medical unit save lives in some of the most vulnerable communities:
- £15 per month would give a child an education at the Damview Community School.
- £10 per month would provide charity food parcels for families on our Family Strengthening Programme – these parcels consist of essential items such as rice, beans and cooking oil.
- £5 per month would cover basic medicine for 12 children. Don’t forget: children in this part of the world die because of treatable diseases like diarrhoea or pneumonia. You can help them to live
