2009

2009 saw a new Children's Village open in Thailand for children left alone by the 2004 tsunami. They had previously been living in other Villages, but we wanted to give them a home of their own. We also reopened an SOS school damaged by the wave. These were just some of the big events of 2009 – click a month to learn more.
