Get Involved at University
Are you a student or a group of students who want to make a difference to the lives of orphaned and abandoned children? Then there are many ways in which you can help support our work all over the world.
Get Fundraising
Why not host your own fundraising event? Get as creative as you can and use your talents and skills to help raise money to support our work. Give us a shout for any advice or inspiration you need and we’ll do our best to help you make your event a success. Organising an event helps you develop those all important career skills too.
Get thinking, here are some ideas to get you started…
- Put on a club night in aid of SOS Children
- Have a donation dinner party with your housemates and friends
- Sell cakes in your student union
- Give a talk to your class about the work of SOS Children
- Get your mates to all do a sponsored parachute jump or run a 10km race
Get Volunteering
We’re recruiting regional volunteers. Help support the work we do and gain those vital career skills through volunteering on campus and in your local community. Visit our volunteering page to find out more.
Get Involved: Form an SOS Children Supporters Group
Use your energy, skills, and commitment to help an important cause. Link up with like-minded students to create an even bigger impact across campus and be the driving force of fundraising and awareness raising events at your university. Get in touch today to apply to be an SOS Children Society President.
Get Social
Help us spread the word; use your social and networking powers to tell the world about SOS Children and our work. Invite your friends to our Facebook page, tweet a link from our website or simply tell them over coffee how great we are and ways they can get involved too.
Calling all RAG groups
If you’re a RAG group we’d love to work with you to help make your fundraising events a success. You can decide to donate the money you raise through your fantastic fundraisers to any of the countries we work in.
