Justgiving is an online fundraising site that you can use to raise sponsorship money online for your fundraising event.  It is the best known of the fundraising sites online. We recommend you use Virgin Money Giving if you fundraise online, as more of the money you raise reaches SOS Children.

• Fundraising on Justgiving or Virgin Money Giving allows you to stay away from the traditional sponsorship form. 
  
• You can combine it with social media to help your donation total rise.
  
• People who donate to a sponsor event online tend to donate, on average, more than those who sponsor on a paper form.
  
• Both sites contain a clear target total, and show how much has already been pledged, giving extra encouragement to friends and family to dig into their pockets to support you on your fundraising quest.

When you set up a donation page on Justgiving or Virgin Money Giving, you can share the address with your friends and family, and watch the total grow.  You can also include a blurb about what you are doing, a photo of yourself and information about SOS Children.
