British 10k runnersOn Sunday July 12th 2015 you could be part of Team SOS Children in the British 10K London Run. We’ve got places on this year’s event and would love to have you on board our 2015 team.

About the race

This is one of the most prestigious and sought-after 10K road races. Each year the race has been a sell-out event with over 25,000 participants filling the streets of the capital, including athletes and celebrity runners. The race will take you through the heart of central London, passing many of the city’s iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey.

If you'd like to find out more about the race you can visit their website which has all the race details and route information on: www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk.

Running to make a difference

sos-children-uganda-africaYour determination, energy and commitment can raise the crucial funds required to change the lives of vulnerable children and families. For SOS Children runners we ask for a pledge to raise £120 to support our work caring for orphaned and abandoned children around the world.

The easiest way to generate this sponsorship is by creating an online fundraising page. We are registered with BT MyDonate as well as Justgiving and Virgin Money Giving. Our favourite way to raise money is with MyDonate, as this offers online fundraising without any charge to SOS Children. Check out the options to help you decide...

Running for charity is not only about raising funds but also about raising awareness amongst your friends, family and community.

We look forward to seeing you at the finish line!
