A few months ago, since the war on Gaza; people lives and living have been changed a lot to where you can clearly see poverty and suffering dominating the Palestinian society in Gaza. More than 128 children live in the SOS Children's Village in Gaza, there; they live in clean places and get lots of social and health care as well as safety and security, also more than 1000 children from the surrounding area benefit from the services that the SOS Children's Village provides.

The Village phones are constantly ringing, lots of people are calling to find a place for their relative who lost their homes and families, also the None Government Organizations are calling to find homes for children who really need such a place. "We are sorry for not having enough space" this is what the village director and his assistance reply to these requests, sometimes the talk takes a long time and sometimes it doesn't, finally the callers they ask to put their names on the SOS children's village waiting list. The SOS children's village provides services such as the replacement family and everything that the family needs like education, social care, health care and activities. But the village have come to a possession where there are no more things that it could handle or manage due to the overload and it's not possible for it to admit new cases of children who are really in need of the services that the SOS children's village provide.

Developing a new SOS Children's Village will decrease the amount of children who suffer from poverty and also will give them a chance to benefit from the services that is provided by the SOS children's village as well as it will keep them away from street life and being homeless. All of this will help to create and build a new generation of leaders and pioneers in the society and the surrounding ...
