Jackson and John

In April, British Ultra Marathon veterans John Tyszkiewicz and Jackson Griffith undertook the first ever non-stop traverse of Lebanon on foot, running over roads, trails and mountain tracks for more than 165 miles. It took them 40 hours - starting on the northern border with Syria at the small township of Arida and ending on the southern Lebanese border with Israel at Al Naqoura.

Through their epic challenge, John and Jackson have generated over £10,000 for SOS Children in Lebanon and were delighted to be cheered on by SOS mothers, staff and children at our Children's Villages along the route.
