Regarding to the Joselyn’s case, which was shared with you in the last inform, we can tell you that she was underwent a surgery, as it was expected, and it was a success!!! The forecast is very positive owing to the fact that the doctor said that there was a 90% probability that Joselyn could walk, even though, it also depended on the rehabilitation she received.

Children's events at Comitán, Mexico

During the vacation period, the History and Anthropology National Institute, through the Archeological Museum of Comitan, carried out a workshop with the Village’s children. Its main objective was to promote, through different activities and games, the importance of preserving our monuments and archeological zones, as the patrimony of our culture. During these courses, all children were happy, active, and curious about discovering our Region’s history.

A quiet environment can be felt at the Village, due to the fact that the families have got bigger, by taking in 5 girls and 12 boys through the latest months.

Rosayda mom formed a new family by welcoming two groups of biological siblings of 5 and 3 integrates respectively, as well as a girl of 5 years old. A modest welcome party was organized so that the children had the opportunity of starting to interact with the Village’s community.

With the intention of providing children with a better attention, and with the intention of making children and youths self-sufficient persons, nine aunts went to the Herman Gmeiner Training Center, at Tehuacan Puebla, in order to be provided with the three formation levels to become mothers. They are very glad and happy of being provided with these courses.

I say goodbye. I wish I could be in touch with you very soon to share more news of all your friends at the Village. We hope honestly that the 2008 year has been a prosperous year and the next 2009 will be even better for you and for all your loved relatives and friends.
