WOW bags on sale from the office!

World Orphan Week’s official partner for the third year running is The Monsoon Accessorize Trust.

The Trust was established in 1994 and funds projects to help disadvantaged women and children all around the world. For WOW 2008, Accessorize sold a beautiful necklace and bracelet and raised an amazing £50,000 for SOS Children. Monsoon sources products from China so funds raised went the SOS Children's Village in Tianjin and the SOS Mother Training Centre in Chengdu.

This year, Monsoon will be selling t-shirts in their Children's department. They have been specially designed for World Orphan Week.

Last year, Accessorize sold a versatile, eye-catching scarf and Monsoon sold a gorgeous 'bag for life' in the children's department. This bag has been especially designed for World Orphan Week and includes the SOS logo. You can still buy them from the SOS office (£7 incl p&p).

I was impressed with the facilities in the Village and also met some of the children who said how much they enjoy their new home. SOS Children is a charity that makes a difference to a huge number of children who may otherwise have no hope and the Monsoon Accessorize Trust is proud to support SOS Children's villages for another year."
