Go on the trip of a lifetime to Nepal and help SOS Children!
BBC Radio presenter Steve Carver has come up with a novel idea: he’s organised a unique two week holiday to Nepal this Easter that donates money from its profits to help SOS Children orphans as well as an orphanage in the rural town of Duwacot near Kathmandu. This wonderful trip includes visiting ancient cities, spending time in the Nepalese jungle, as well as five days beginners’ trekking in the lower Himalaya. You can even take an optional light-aircraft flight around the tip of Mount Everest!
Each participant who mentions SOS Nepal on booking, automatically donates £75 to SOS Children projects in Nepal. It’s a novel idea, that gives people a holiday of a life-time and helps change the lives of our children. The holiday cost is just £975 excluding international flights. The trip leaves from 5 - 17 April and more details can be found on Angel Holidays website.Corporate groups are welcome to take part.
Organiser Steve Carver says: “I've started Angel Holidays for two main reasons. Firstly, I wanted to provide a travel experience that would give visitors a real taste of all three of Nepal's terrains, offering more than just a walking holiday but something that gives you a real experience of Nepal and its culture. Secondly, I wanted people to enjoy the giving aspect of the holiday: each person who takes part will automatically be donating money to help some of Nepal's poorest children. So by taking part, you're not only having an adventure of a life-time, but also changing the lives of others!”
