Gift from God
Once, the family was looking forward to Christmas Eve. As usual there was a lot of food, a decorated Christmas tree, presents under the Christmas tree. Everyone was cheerful and happy.
The mother was worried about her son, because he did not come back from the shop. She could not wait much longer and made a phone call to his mobile phone. Someone picked up the phone, but it was not her son. There was a man that told her: "Your son was hurt in a car accident."
The mother went to the hospital immediately. After several hours, her son woke up. She hugged her son and said: "Don't worry, everything will be OK." The family decided to celebrate Christmas Eve in the hospital. The mother understood that she has not given enough love and care to her son. It was her gift from God.

Time for miracles
While I am looking outside the window, snowflakes like small shining stars are covering the ground. These snowflakes are different from yesterday's snowflakes because it's Christmas and these are Christmas snowflakes. I see how the snowflakes slowly land on the fir-tree in my neighbour's garden. The biggest and most beautiful snowflake lands on top of the fir-tree. Exactly this Christmas snowflake will help someone very much.
This snowflake came from the Big White cloud city. In this city each house looks like a very big white haycock and the windows of these houses are made from clear dew drops and the doors of these houses are made from pure white snow (brighter than the sun). This special Christmas snowflake came from one of the plain-looking and smallest houses of the Big White city.
Every morning she used to open the dew windows of her house and she looked across to the fir-tree in my neighbour's garden. This fir-tree looked sad as there was a boy in this family who has been ill for a very long time. Christmas was so near, but the small boy had never seen white snowflakes or green fir-trees, or people's smiling faces.
The boy's eyes were not frozen from the cold outside but from the illness that prevented him from seeing the beauty of the world. That is why the fir-tree was so sad. The little snowflake knew about the boy's illness. Everyone knew about his illness. Only the Generous Christmas Angel did not know anything about this boy. He had so many problems to solve - someone did not have a Christmas tree, someone did not have presents, someone had other sorrows.
The Christmas snowflake had never seen the Generous Christmas Angel. She thought he has a white dress and white wings, but actually he was like a normal person. He was a poor person with the widest and most open heart in the world. He was able to turn all evil into good but unfortunately he did not know anything about the poor blind boy. The Christmas snowflake visited the Generous Christmas Angel and told him about the blind boy. And the angel promised to help this boy.
On Christmas Eve, the boy was able to see the world for the first time. How the Generous Christmas Angel healed him we will never find out, but from this we can learn one thing: Christmas is the time of miracles - the time when dreams can become true.
Christmas is the time when blind people can see again, deaf people can hear again and mean people can become generous and have warm hearts like a Generous Christmas Angel. All this happens during Christmas time - and this time is so close...

Happy Oliver
Finally, Christmas Eve had arrived! In every family and in every house there were celebrations and a festive atmosphere. There was a boy without a family and without shelter on this holy eve. He roved about the narrow and empty streets of the city. The name of this boy was Oliver. He saw happy families through the windows, singing songs and having meals in warm, cosy houses, and he got sadder.
Suddenly he saw that someone hidden around the corner was watching him. As Oliver was curious, he wanted to find out who was there. He found a small, lovely puppy there. This puppy was also alone on Christmas Eve.
It was 9 o'clock in the evening when the boy took the puppy and went to the Christmas worship in church. There was a warm and very nice atmosphere in the church. All the people were smiling and happy. The church choir was singing "Silent Night" and all the people in the church were singing as well. Then the priest was telling a Christmas story. The boy was looking at the beautiful Christmas tree in front of the altar, it was decorated with white candles and angels, and on top there was a big shining star. The observation of the Christmas tree was interrupted by the priest.
He asked the boy: "What's your name and why are you not with your family tonight?" The boy sadly answered: "My name is Oliver and I don't have a family or place where to go." The priest said: "As you don't have a home you can stay here."
Oliver smiled and replied: "I would like to stay here." The priest showed the boy where he could stay. The boy was very happy because someone was finally offering him shelter.
