We are deeply saddened to announce that four colleagues from SOS Children Brazil were lost in the TAM Linhas Aéreas Flight 3054 which crashed landing in São Paulo on 17 July 2007 during heavy rain. They were one SOS mother and three educational staff from the SOS Children's Villages in Santa Maria and Porto Alegre. They were travelling to the annual SOS Children's Village national convention, taking place in São Paolo.

It is with deep sadness that we remember our colleagues, Rosangela, Carmen Luisa, Inês Maria and Leila Maria. Our thoughts and hearts go out to their relatives and to the children of the deceased SOS mother, as well as to the SOS Children's Villages family in Brazil.
